From the Academic Director
Dear current and prospective Waverly families,
It is my honor to serve as the Academic Director (Principal) for the 2020-2021 academic year. I moved to Jacksonville in 2011 and had the privilege of being one of the founding teachers at Waverly Academy. The mission to "educate girls for life!" has become my personal mission and I am so happy to be part of a school that not only helps students grow academically but also as professional and productive citizens.
My goal as Academic Director is to assist teachers in guiding students down a "path to proficiency". We will develop individual learning plans and set goals for growth that will help students achieve a level 3 or higher on the FSA. This academic achievement will open up doors in the future such as qualifying to enroll in high performing high schools and preparing students for college and career options.
Parents play a critical role in the "path to proficiency" and teachers and staff will communicate regularly to ensure that each student is growing and finding success. Our door is always open for questions, feedback and suggestions. As a team, we will achieve our mission to "educate girls for life" even in difficult times of uncertainty and change in our country. Thank you for your time and support and I look forward to working with each of you this school year!
Ms. Faith Dollard
